Get It In Gear.

(Ironically, I just had my transmission in my car replaced, but that's not what this post is about.)

It's time for me to gear up and hit the ground running--hard--again. Not just running literally though. I mean this whole journey is about to get a wake up call. I just got home from a too-long trip in Pennsylvania that was made up of entirely too much resting. I've already got an awesome, hefty to-do list and I'm scratching things off one-by-one. I'm proud when I'm productive.

And one of those things that needs to be seriously attacked now is my weight. I wanna be in the 180s come this new year, even if I gotta go harder in December than I did all this semester. I'm talkin' daily workouts, eating extremely strict. If I can get within 25 pounds of my initial goal weight (163... so 188) I'll be thrilled. That first goal was very ambitious, and yeah, if I'd been on The Biggest Loser I could have done it, probably, but it's a long and grueling road to weight loss.

I'm happy that I've lost over 20 pounds now. That's still huge for me. So I'll celebrate that and let it encourage and push me.

Weighing in tomorrow. Ate a big meal about an hour ago, wondering how that will affect weigh in. I have to be in the 190s starting December, which could mean that I'd be going on a cleansing flush the next few days if my weight's up too high (not starving or anything, just seriously flushing out a bad week/week and a half of food).

I have so much going on this week, but I'm going to yoga in the morning, and maybe swim too. Then I'll try and run on Wednesday. Maybe just a mile, just to get the ankle working again. Just gotta kick some serious BOOTY!

Get it in gear, ya'll. It's go-time... end of semester is upon is, this is where each last inch of effort counts. Kinda like last chance workout on Biggest Loser.:)

Boom!
