"I already have my running shoes on..."

Feeling antsy after class, I ran an errand, and on the way home, I pondered running today. I glanced down at my feet below the steering wheel, managing the gas and brake.

"I already have my running shoes on..." I noticed.

And that was it. I parked the car at the top of a hill, at the Varsity, got out of the car, and took off. I ran a mile and a quarter without stopping, jogging right back up to my car and hopping back in. I wasn't exhausted, and only a little sweaty. Just enough to get the heart racing and get a little tension off my back before going home to tackle some more schoolwork.

And that's who I'm becoming. One of those people who runs a mile to destress. That's a good life.
